Malayer Rug 3’1 x 5’10*VINTAGE Hot

Handwoven Malayer rug from Persia circa 1920. Rug measures 3 feet one inch by 5 feet 10 inches. This rug features rich blue and rust hues all from vegetable dyes. The dominant pattern on the rug is the Harshang crab. It represent renewal and rebirth because crabs are able to shed their shells and generate new ones. Rug is in good condition with wear that is consistent with age and use.
